In the summer of 2022, the beloved Chicago brunch restaurant, Orange, closed their doors for good. That restaurant served unique coffee made from beans infused with real orange juice. For over a decade, it was our favorite coffee. When Orange closed, we bought and tried many different brands of "orange" coffee to replace what we'd lost. Many were sugary, artificial, and medicine-y. Not this one!
Amana's chocolate orange coffee is the only blend we've found that stands up to (and maybe surpasses) Orange's legendary house blend. The aroma of real oranges permeates before you even open the box. (Beware if you're giving a gift - it's hard to conceal!) When brewed, your entire home will be filled with a delicious smell of oranges and chocolate. Most importantly, the flavor is perfect. The oranges and chocolate are subtle, but genuine, layered over honestly good coffee. It reminds me of the chocolate oranges from childhood, but not so sweet or artificial that it becomes overpowering. Unlike many flavored coffees, we can drink this every day. My only wish is that I could buy a larger bag!
